By Laws of the BOONE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTER organization
Duties of Officers Duties of the officers shall be: (1) The President shall preside at all meetings of the organization, appoint all committees, and shall be ex officia, a member of all committees. (2) The Vice-President shall assume all the duties of the President in his absence. (3) The Secretary shall keep all records and minutes of all meetings in a permanent form and shall conduct all correspondence. He shall present minutes of preceding meetings to the organization. (4) The High School Finance Office shall receive all funds due the organization and disburse same upon approval of the organization. He/She shall make a financial report to the organization at all regular meetings. (5) The Bursar shall receive all funds due to the organization and shall make the deposit to the bank and deliver deposit slips to the Treasurer. (6) Officers shall deliver all funds and records of office to his duty elected successor. Time and place of meeting The regular meetings of this organization shall be held on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 PM. The meetings shall be held at BOONE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL. Election of officers (1) The president will call for nominations at the January meeting. Those interested in running for an office should call the President prior to the February meeting to be put on the ballot. (2) Nominations will also be taken from the floor at the meeting. (3) Term of office shall be from March to February. Vacancies of office Vacancies shall be filled by Board appointment with exception of President, which will be filled by the Vice-President until a special election is held. Audit An audit shall be tended before the end of each fiscal year. The President shall appoint two persons to conduct the audit. | |
